Standard Group Now turns on the fake colleges it has been promoting

This seems to have gone a full cycle with the Standard Group now training its guns on fake educational institutions like DALC. Standard Group has been DALC's mouthpiece since Business DAily exposed DALC backnin FEb 2008. As you are aware, DALC still advertises on the front page of the standard like it did recently when Oborah launched his gifted and talented congame.

KTN has continued broadcasting the CLASS,  a DALC infomercial that is short on fact and long on falsehoods. In one of the shows, Oborah's 19 year old son poses  as a career expert who can deduce your 5 year old son's career 20 years into the future. KTN air that crappy show every Tuesday after news. Now Standard Group seems to have had enough...or are they just flapping gums? and has asked the government to "protect Students". And what do they do? They (Standard Group) have totally ignored emails and calls asking them to investigate DALC.

We take it that maybe something has changed in the way DALC and Standard Group used to relate but are certain that the authorities at Standard Group knew that DALC was a shady institution all along. Read the article below where they throw the blame on the government- despite their role in promoting KEnya's Biggest Education Scam. Hypocritical but the screws are not turning in DALC's favour anyway.

The marketing points of many of the dubious colleges is that they offer in collaboration with top international universities like Oxford, Cambridge and University of London and other reputable examination bodies.

Others claim to offer international diplomas from leading institutions without identifying the institutions. They promise to teach technical courses such as computer engineering, software development and programming to students with average grades of D.

While it takes two to threeyears to obtain diplomas from reputable institutions such colleges offer the same within three-six months, thereby appealing mostly to parents and guardians who are financially constrained.

So have they finally seen the light or is it just another falling out and Standard Group is now telling us what they have always known. I am not convinced one bit because not so long ago they published this story.

Try and comment on the bogus nature of the man in that article. Standard Group's website will not allow any comments that are pointing to the fact that the man is a fake. In effect, they have given DALC genuineness that it would not have gotten anywhere else and must be blamed for all our wasted futures.

 This is typical Oborah, next will be an article about Andrew Ouko's genius then you have to wonder, how does this fake professor suddenly happen to have these bright kids that are gifted ...yet he is in the gifted and talented business? too many coincedences?

The writer of this article JOY WANJA did a shoddy job of writing this article, I don't see other experts or teachers views on thsis whole thing. Just her dad ( a conman) and herself. Is that a complete story? Just a clever way to get your child tested and shell a load of cash by DALC.

Tracy Ouko can easily pass for a girl in her late teens, or even a young woman aged 20 years.

So confident, composed, and articulate is the 13-year-old that she has not only learnt to mingle with adults but intimately shares her passion for her pet subject — nutrition.

Tracy was identified as a gifted and talented child five years ago and was accelerated from Class Three to Form One.

“A psychometric test revealed that my daughter was exceptionally good in nutrition and her knowledge was above that of her age mates,” Prof Humphrey Oborah, her father, told Saturday Nation on Friday.

Little effort

Her interest in the subject prompted her parents to take her through the psychometric test.

“She would ask lots of questions, was a keen observer and analyst and excelled in her studies with little effort,” Prof Oborah said.

“I developed an interest in food and its nutritive value when I was seven,” says Tracy, now a Form Four student at Millennium Academy.

She says the more she researched, the more she thirsted for knowledge in the field.

Tracy is one of 325 children in East Africa who are part of the African Council for Gifted and Talented Children, an organisation that nurtures and appreciates extraordinary ability.

According to Prof Oborah, the children do not necessarily have to be gifted academically only. Dexterity in skills like singing, playing the piano or sports are some of the talents identified.

“If you notice a unique skill in your child, nurture it,” he advised parents, guardians, and teachers.

However, Prof Oborah said one of the challenges facing learning institutions in the country and region is a system to identify gifted children due to restrictions on access to educational and psychological assessment to determine IQ.

“I want to be a nutrition manager to solve malnutrition cases,” says Tracy.

However, all has not been rosy for the adolescent. “The girls were older than me but we were almost the same body size,” she said.

Andrew Ouko is Oborah's son. He is the heir to the congame and is the person who is going to be in the mix as DALC moves the con to another game. Sad because they should have stayed and fought us with facts. But they have changed the business model, now DALC is something else. A clear sign for all to see that this UK thing was a mirage. a quick way to make money.

Now that it isn't, Oborah will try to foretell careers with a machine that takes body measurements -usually for clothes. The same machine will be operated by his 18yr old son who has no training in the machine. None whatsoever. He will operate the said machine and give you a reading into your future. In the meantime, he is busy following his fathers steps..sleeping with hoes and knocking down beers.

LANDLORD TO AUCTION DALC PROPERTY

Soon there will be no DALC, but Oborah will still be around to laugh in our faces after stealing our futures. He is not a small god like some of his former, current staff and students think.


DALC  is being auctioned for non payment of rent and guess what, KDN is still owed 600,000 , Access Kenya is owed more than 330,000 and all the campuses owe some rent. The banks too want their money. If you wait for Oborah to be dealt with by the others, there will be nothing left. Time to take what is ours, time to take action and finish this fake Professor.

OPEN LETTER TO Digital Advisory Learning Centre (DALC) lectures and STUDENTS

Open letter to DALC lecturers:

Dear Honourable Sirs and Madams,
Greetings to you all. I stand erect like an electric post to salute you for the new year.I know that all of us had a very miserable christmas and new year celebrations as none of us had been paid. Today, I still report to work with no december pay. I know my caretaker has been laughing at me. He has been telling other tenants that employment is just a job, whether your employer pays you or not is the value.It is true Oborah wont pay any time soon and I will not be surprised if i find that I have been evicted. The pains we suffer in working for DALC.

I have seen a bulleting that the new head of missions will be moving around to collect views from parents and students. As a lecturer I have not been included anywhere to give my own pressing issues. One of the pressing issues definetly is my pay. I have not been paid for december and January is almost ending. The other pressing issue is the validity of the courses that we teach at DALC. At the bottom of my small ass, I know that there is no serious learning that takes here. While I have a diploma, I lecturer students who have sat in real graduate classes in real universities. That is an abuse to the students. I have no choice. It gives me momontary release for truly that is an achievement which is also truly kenyan.

I know that some of my colleagues have opted to do dirty jobs like selling projects and even acting pornography with miserable wives who have found solace in dalc( Okwanyi, can you deny this? I salute you for taking an opportunity in DALC to find pleasure and make money. It is truly Oborah. Okwanyi has all symptoms of Oboraliosis.)

To the real issues now.
My question to all of us is, you know too well that the certifictes taht students will get from DALC are not genuine, why dont you just tell the students that they are wasting their time, you doi not need to tell all of them, just tell a few of them, like the serious ones whjo can also help you get jobs elsewhere after you have saved them from the miseries.

We have all seen that the student numbers have reduced significantly, redution of studenmts means that Erick and Wacuka plus the newly appointed idiots of deputies reduce our pay. Since quiting without pay is hard, eat Oborah from within, I am embarking on a mission to tell all students taking management courses that dalc is fake, I will give them credible advice on the instituions they can go and register for genuine course. I know there are those who will listen, no matter the naba, I will have made and impact.
You see, Oborah only pays me 25, 000. A student pays 12, 000 per month, if i manage to see three students leave dalc every month, oborah will lose an income of 36,000 and remember he will still pay me!!!!

I am not hiding what I have been doing, I have been hovering around the reception waiting for people coming to inquire, after they have listened to the zealoous center manger, I am following them as they leave and I give them handouts on DALC and even refering them to this blog. This way i feel i will revenge.
It pains to see innocent Kenyans yearning for eduction from the wrong place.

My fellow lecturers, join me in this battle, lets fight from within, any time you get a new student dont hesistate to let him or her know that DALC is controversial and a certifictae is just a paper, its recognition is the value. Even if you will not join me in this battle, I will do it. I have a worriors spirit. I fight to the bitter end. I will not hestate to meet the new head of missions and ask her why I am never paid on time, why I am alloctaed to teach students who are more qualified than me and why dalc gives students cerifictes printed from Oborahs home.

DALC out TO STEAL EVEN MORE FUTURES

DALC Education as you have come to discover, steals your future and lays it all to waste with useless Diplomas and dubious Degrees. Of the initial crop of DALC students who were academically serious, an estimated 60% have had to enroll elsewhere and get other credible qualifications. Forget what Humphrye Oborah says "papers are not important in the 22nd century" because he is taking your money know and leaving to look to a future alone.

How many DALC students have excelled as a result of the practical education? It is over 6 years since DALC started. Back then, Andrew Ouko (oborah's son) was in class 5 and now he is finished with his O-levels. Infact, he is know incharge of career testing using the machine that Oborah showed on TV the other day. 6 years and still nothing meaningful to show? Oborah must then be Kenya's biggest failure if for all his innovation and career testing nonsense there's nothing to be seen!

Our blog has greatly affected his operations and he knows that all his credibility is gone as all DALC students know of Oborah's :

Poor Human Resource Management

Tax evasion

Fake Profesorship

Low credibility

Therefore the DALC HEAD of Missions is playing a new game. He is installing a puppet to run DALc in his place. He is bringing in a lady with (possibly) legit qualifications to run DALC and wait....she is white. You all know how much Madharau Oborah has for things African. He makes jokes about Africans backwardness and lack of innovation(thus he innovates new cons) as compared to the white people. He is hoping that once this new figure is installed, there will be a fresh drive at DALC. She can speak to people without having to fake an accent like he does.

Oborah will be the man incharge but you will see an American instead. An american puppet. Then the fools will rush in to the college because the head of missions is a white lady. Typical Oborah.

1. Dr. Rose Bhujela Otieno - Director of Research

She holds a Bachelors, Masters and PhD Degrees from Machester University in UK and a lead (global) anthropometric researcher. She has been working the UK in this capacity for over 10 years and has worked with Prof. Oborah in relation to GnT machine particulalry in the areas related to sizing surveys, health and fitness as well as education applications of this machine.

Obviosuly, she brings valuable and robust breadth of academia and experience to the institution.

1. Mr. Benson O. Juma - Deputy Head of Academics.

Mr. Juma has been a long serving lecturer in Finance and Accounts since early 2004 and most students have appreciated his loyality to this career, his great class delivery notwithstanding. Juma is a certified accountant.

2. Mr. Hesbon O. Obor - Deputy Head of Administration and Finance.

Hesbon is the longest serving DALC staff having joined DALC at the onset in Year 2003. He struggled with the Founder (Prof. Humphrey Oborah) to bring DALC into a college and has been the ACCA boss from 2003. He is an accomplished ACCA lecturer and supporter of DALC initiatives.

They all occupy their offices, officially,  from 1st January 2010 but are already in office.

After 4 months of interviews and negotiations, the Board of Directors of DALC Education have mandated me to announce the appointment of Mrs. Christina Dianne sullivan (USA) as the new Head of Missions for DALC Education replacing myself from 1st March 2010.

Christina holds a Bachelors Degree in Sociology, Masters Degree and completing Phd. from Goerge Washington University (USA).

She has over 15 years experience as academics and social manager. She is definitely delivering the new DALC next year.

She will be meeting staff and students over December 2009 and Feb 2010 in all campuses within and outside Kenya.

Let us all welcome her massively, in the meatime, as we execute a smooth handover culminating in a formal introduction and thanksgiving ceremony.

We would like to thank our faithful bloggers and commentors. This blog will soldier on in the path we started last year. We are here to bring Oborah's evil to an end. 11 months after this blog was started, more than 30,500 visitors have visited and close to 800 comments published by our readers.

DALC on the other hand , is steeped in its own fall: inevitably from a robust institution with thousands of students in the country, now all that is left is a few naive people who do not research seriously before joining . Majority of those who were studying at DALC have left and all you need to do to ascertain this is walk around the institution. Staff have all but left. Only those who are desperate enough to work without a salary have remained. Hoping perhaps that Oborah might pay then a quarter of their salary so they can get through January.

Oborah scoffed at the blog and called the bloggers foolish idlers, we had no issue with that. His ultimate downfall is his deceit. Diverting attention at the identity or intelligence of the bloggers works but for a short time, ultimately. People find out that foolish or not we had the facts nailed. DALC EDUCATION is a family run fraud. A business that has capitalised on weak laws, corrupt enforcers an inept Ministry of Education and an IDLE Commission for Higher Education.

DALC needs to be closed down and Oborah locked up and we are not relenting until that happens. Oborah you can take our word for that. Exactly a year ago, you were swimming in money and beating your chest that you will ruin the bloggers lives for good. You also promised to get us arrested. So where are you now? You cannot pay your staff, students are hounding you for their money that bank is on your case and the new branches are a total failure. More is to come.

In closing, we are looking at ways of getting our money (STUDENTS, STAFF) and I would urge you to get in touch with us.Old DALC staff have absolutely nothing to fear, Oborah has stolen people's money and worse OUR FUTURE. The 2-3 YEARS SPENT AT DALC ARE WASTE and you WILL HAVE TO ENROLL ELSEWHERE to recover that. If you have money left.

A liar and a fraudster



When I joined DALC, Oborah looked at my KCSE transcript and said I was a good manager and thus should join the management courses. Mark you, I was straight out of high school and this career expert claimed I was management material. My parents were naturally overjoyed by the news and Oborah played into their psyche by claiming , “infact, this suit I am wearing was bought by one of the students who was recently hired by the world bank from DALC”. At that point, we were all convinced by this smooth talking con. He threw in a couple of stories about his UK degrees and work experience + his research in Gift and Talent Testing.



We were quickly boxed and my parents paid the entire fees so that my learning would not be interrupted. That’s was the biggest mistake of my life and when I told my parents that DALC was fishy, Oborah told them I was lazy and had in fact failed to complete my assignments. And they believed him. I had to go to DALC no matter what and I decided to snoop around and in no time, I had enough evidence to convince my parents that DALC was fake. Especially his fake degree of the WIDU.



They were shocked that they had been tricked, scammed and defrauded. Then they were angry that this man was still appearing on TV with his DALC infomercials about 22nd century education. My dad took it up with the CHE and nothing came of it, absolutely nothing. Close to 250,000 was lost in addition to 8 months.



Needless to say that I have joined a proper University. One that does not conduct Gift and Talent Testing, one that is not run by a maverick and certainly does not promise some Cambridge & Oxford degrees. It does not have 100+ courses but with it. I am sure I can forge a future.



What about those Kenyans that are being conned by Oborah? What are we going to do as responsible citizens.

OBORAH'S RIGHT HAND MAN-PATRICK AMUKOA MAKANGA

Patrick Amukoa Makanga was born 28 years ago. But we are not here to write his life story. We are here today because he is Oborah's best friend, mentor and most trusted employee. He is also the SNITCH in CHIEF. The one who updates Oborah on everything that is going on.

Did you know that Faith Kinyae has tried to fire Patrick Amukoa Makanga countless times with no success? To this day, Patrick is the only employee who has served in DALC from its inception. Why is this so?

Well, Patrick joined as a student and quickly rose to become the most popular student mostly because of his endless stories about booze, women and his dick. As a result, Oborah made him the student leader and shortly thereafter hired him and sent him to Buruburu centre. He is a non starter by nature and thus the need for him to move from station to station within DALC at the behest of Oborah's wife.

To this day, Patrick has worked at DALC's Hurlingham, Buruburu, 20th Century, Westlands, Kericho, Nakuru, Nairobi West and Chiromo Lane.

The main reason for his neverending transfers is Faith Kinyae. She is unhappy that he is teaching Oborah badmanners. You see, Patrick is Oborah's pimp. The one who finds him young juicy girls and orgies. He does nothing but scheme for his next lay day after day and this always affects the performance of the centre he is running. As a result, Faith gets tired and fires. Oborah reinstates him to another centre despite Faith's protests.

Why would a critically acclaimed professor spend more time with a dimwitted-yellow toothed sexmaniac than he does with his wife? They love to sit and drink, see who can drink more, then Patrick teaches Oborah kimanyu and they recount their sexual exploits in Kimanyu. That'd be a mighty odd for a real professor but for a cheap sleazeball like Oborah, Patrick is truly his best friend.

Oborah has nothing but praise for Pato by the way. He says that Patrick would take a shot and die for him (oborah). And to prove it, Patrick spent last christmas with Oborah's family.  Afterwards, Faith Kinyae was telling people she couldn't believe how much of an idiot Patrick was.

Oborah says that he likes Patrick because he is a party animal (anajua kula hepi-in Oborah's words) and more because he is an moron. Yep, Oborah likes his best friend because he is a buffoon who has no ambition or future. Oborah once whispered to me that if Patrick was sharp, he'd make him the Operations Manager because he believes in Oborah 150%. But he wouldn't because the fela is an ass.

Patrick has served Oborah diligently and has presented to the naughty professor's altar of fornication enough girls to start a college. That must be the reason why the two are tighter than tight. He also serves as an MC in DALC events and is also Humphrey Oborah's bouncer, personal assistant, phone boy, driver, adviser, mentor depending on the occasion.   To Oborah, he is fondly reffered to as TOPA. Unfortunately for TOPA, H always turns to the next person and proclaims that he cannot believe how much of an idiot he is. But TOPA is the ever faithful lapdog that will stand any abuse by its master.

Their close relationship has been cemented by Patrick's ability to find him  young girls. He is constantly looking by the way. So that he can bring some  fresh meat (as they call it) along when Humphrey takes another one of those business trips to Kitale, Eld etc.

The pictures you see are of  Patrick and a young  DALC STUDENT who was later hawked to Oborah after he ( Patrick) was through with her. She was at the time a DALC student.

Humphrey Oborah should know that a man is judged by the company he keeps?

OBORAH NOW DESPERATE FOR THE MONEY

It is an old story now that DALC is in the doldrums. The dirty professor is struggling to pay the staff on whom he relies on to con Kenyans. At this point, lets see by a show of hands those people who have been paid their salaries in full!! Put your hand down Pato, I said people.

DALC's scenario is dire with no enrollments, massive dropouts and internal sabotage rife. A nice recipe for the mad professor to work with. In view of all these issues, he went ahead and negotiated a loan scheme with KREP where you take a loan to finance your studies at DALC. He called it the school fees fund. That sounds nice, like the CDF fund only that it is a loan from KREP. Did you know that DALC is built on KREP ,money and that he still owes a hefty sum?

Students on the other hand have not taken warmly to the new loan scheme with most keeping their money in their pockets until key issues are addressed clearly. The foolish professor would be better advised to answer the peoples questions but wait, he doesn't care about you. He doesn't give a hoot about your life or career. Its about the money stupid!

He is talking about the money again. Threatening to throw you out of his fake college if you do not pay. According to the distinguished professor, you have no right to anything! Just pay your fees, act dumb and get a fake certificate like the rest of DALCturds. Do not try to be special.  

You must join the school fees fund aka KREP school fees loan and if you choose not to the you must pay your fees 3 months in advance. Thats pretty underhand if you ask me. He wants to secure the future with fees payments that are atleast 1 year in advance (if you go the KREP way) or 3 months in advance (when you pay in cash) .

All students with fees arrears should work out how to clear fees arrears  immediately with their CMs.
A letter and planning form for the same have been dispatched to your CMs.

I am afraid, we will not allow anyone with fees arrears in DALC from 1st December 2009 unless approved arrangement made with Head of Finance and Admin in writing.

Title: CLARIFICATION ON FEES PAYMENTS

We recently introduced the new School Fees Fund to help those with problems in paying fees. This does NOT in any way change fees payment agreement for those who are already paying monthly and consistently, as there is clear evidence that they are not defaluting in fees payments and managing.

Those who have paid their fees in bulk and in advance of the lessons, by 3 months,  may also continue to do so.

A student whose payments remain in arrears must let us know, in writing, why they cannot join the scheme yet they are not managing on their own.

A new student who wishes to pay monthly, will be required to pay 3 months in advance to cushion us from defaults. Otherwise, they join the scheme or pay at once.

Unfortunatley, we will not entertain fees defaulters in this institution because they interrupt our financial plans hence service delivery for those who have already paid.

OBORAH THE HAREBRAINED FAKE PROFESSOR

Is HUMPHREY OBORAH a rational person? Is there anybody who has ever gotten to sit down with him and come out thinking that it was a rational conversational within the precincts of logic. Well, where am I going with this?

A former student recently decided to test Humphrey Oborah and he fired an email to the DALC EDUCATION chief liar.  Read below.

As you can see in that email, the student raises serious questions about the relationships between DALC, CAM and ABE alongside the issues of tutor inconsistency. The student in this email also hints (untruthfully) that the Centre Manager has a tuition centre within Eldoret.

As usual, Oborah does not respond to the key issues about the credibility of the college and the programmes on offfer. He quickly narrows down to the issue of the CM running a tutoring centre and asks to be told who is the bloody  CM. His sister Ruth, or the other one.

Note that he does nothing to quell the students fears. Not a single word is mentioned to help clear the confusion.

Who knows what happens after the email implicating Evelyne in an imaginary scam?


Well, hell hath no fury like Oborah’s when he gotta fire somebody. In a short while, Evelyne is jobless and Oborah is smiling in wicked satisfaction.


All the while, he doesn’t take any steps to verify the claims , meet the student or address the issues.


He fires back an email in his characteristic fashion, shifts the blame to a clique and throws his old tired line about the bright future of  DALC. Oborah claims that the fraudfactory DALC will be a university next year 2010. I would laugh at that but  nothing is impossible with the corrupt inept Commission for Higher Education and it’s Minister. It might be a possibility that we will have a possibility that a thieving conman who claims to foretell childrens' careers 20years into the future will be allowed to run a university.

 CHEERS!!So this is how Oborah makes his decisions. How much logic do you see in his hasty madness to fire. Staff beware. This is how you will be fired and be slandered thereafter by a man who is busy cheating on his wife with innocent students!


The sucker punch comes hard and low and we have to say, Humphrey Oborah was definitely kicked in the nuts by this former student. Am not sure if I sympathize with the employee who lost her job since she was well aware that it was a con game. Nobody works at DALC for more than one month and fails to realise that DALC is a complete ripoff.

    Look at eldoret most students are transfering to kitale campus, there is no accounting and law lecturer in eldoret, already 4 have gone there, why cant you you see the problem in this campus it is your sis ruth who is the problem, get details from those students they will be an eye opener to you.

DALC SCAM: IT IS TIME TO ACT

Isn’t it about time?

More than 300 articles and 44000 hits later. This blog is a testament of the power the we have to inform and mobilise people. We have presented lots of evidence that even DALC cannot contest. We have proven beyond any doubt that there is a lot of dishonesty that goes around DALC. The man behind the college is a dishonest, selfish individual.

He has taken the problems that bedevil the education sector to trick unknowing parents into paying for locally printed certificates at UK prices. We know where the money goes because among the bloggers are former DALC accountants who know how much DALC has scammed the people.

There is more than enough evidence to prove that DALC is a fraudulent instituiton that is probably engaged in money laundering and tax evasion. That makes some people criminals.

Now it is now time for action!!!!!! We have hamstrung DALC operations but Oborah is not resting on his laurels, he is busy crafting new deals with KREP bank that will guarantee him income. You will take a loan for a worthless paper that is not recognised anywhere!! Oborah will then tell the parents that a Certificate is Just paper, It content is the value.

He will thereafter claim that DALC is for entrepreneurs. Oborah says DALC is for people who will create jobs for others and not employment seekers. The foolish fall for this trick and start imagining that DALC training will make them entrepreneurs.

We must act. DALC EDUCATION and the CHE must tell us why Kenyans are doing these dodgy courses while the authorities look aside. Obviously colluding. The Eastafrican standard will also be shamed thoroughly in the coming days as we have copies of the mails that we have sent them over time asking them to investigate DALC. After all, they have their jicho pevu people busting scams such as CARTRACK all over the place.

We are going to put together a formal complain to the parliament, ministry of education, anti corruption authority,  KRA and other instituions that may be able to bust this scam. We hear that Nation media group is afraid of Oborah’s lawsuits so the media will not be of much help here.

DALC STUDENTS HAVEN'T LEARNED

 

DALC STUDENTS, you had better read this article very keenly. This is what will happen in the near future. Mark our words, DALC will soon be history and you will be chasing after Oborahs shadows like demented madmen.

I will spare the lectures and urge you to learn from the Malaysians who were conned by the scammers led by H Sandhu with the dubious Irish International University degrees. You can learn from those who have been scammed or you can wait for the rude awakening.

'Grads' unable to contact IIU

PETALING JAYA: Attempts by a few "graduates" of alleged degree mill Irish International University (IIU) to contact their alma mater after the Starprobe's expose came to nought yesterday.

"I called their office many times but nobody picked up the phone. I just want to get a clarification from them," said a marketing executive who holds a Master's of Business Administration from the institution, which had changed its name to Isles International University.

The executive, who only wanted to be known as C.C. Lee, said she had been worried about her position at work since reading Sunday's Starprobe report on "dodgy" degrees.

When the Starprobe team checked out the official IIU office in Petaling Jaya - as stated in their website and correspondence - they were greeted by a padlocked door with only a forwarding number pasted on it.

When the Starprobe team tried to call the new number no one picked up the phone.
Wrong address:The official IIU office in Petaling Jaya is supposed to be in this block but it is sealed up.

A quick visit at the "new" office, located nearby, revealed that it was still operational.

Another IIU victim who only wanted to be known as Vernon said he was considering taking legal action against the institution.

"I was shocked to read the Starprobe report. My convocation ceremony in 2006 was very 'real' - it was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and I received my scroll from a deputy minister. We had guests of honour, who claimed to be academics from the European Union University, to witness the ceremony," he said.

Vernon, who works in the hospitality sector, said that he found out about the university from a booth the institution had set up at a Tesco outlet.

"I was browsing through their brochures when they offered me an opportunity to get a degree. They told me that with my 10 years of experience, I was eligible for a degree if I submitted a project paper. They showed me pictures of famous people who received degrees from them and video clips of their past convocation ceremonies," he said.

"I regret it now. I should have suspected that something was wrong because it was too easy but they really convinced me that my experience meant something and that their operation was legitimate.

All DALC students know that something is not right at the institution and there are many questions that need to be answered. Why is there so much secrecy at DALC? Why the uncertainty about exams, certificates, accreditation etc

People, prepare yourselves for this kind of drama once the shit hits the fan. We promise it will be for the best of all Kenyans. One day, you will be unable to contact the people who should know what happens to your money and the dubious certificates you are supposed to get.

It's already happening Oborah tries to distance himself from an institution that he created and runs to this day. He is the mastermind and architect of all that goes with DALC. Strangely, he is not picking up calls and has chosen to hire people to answer questions that he should be answering.

This story will be repeated here in Kenya by some Kenyans once DALC comes a cropper. Unfortunately, they will have been told and warned before.

OBORAH IS TIRED OF YOU, BUT LOVES YOUR MONEY

RANDY PETE is at it again. Shuffling the staff at DALC like they were a couple of cards with the sole intention of confusing students. As of today, he claims that he is no longer involved in the day to day running of DALC and you should address your queries to a bunch of email addresses. Of course these will be replied by Oborah (Patrick Makanga is too dim to do that)  and you really have no idea of whom you are dealing with from now on.

Oborah needs to rest his ulcers and loins out of your constant nagging and badgering about:

See how this has no names or phone numbers, just email addresses. Who pays their hard earned money only to be told to speak to an email address? Only DALC students. Some have been rightly called DALCturds.

Oborah hopes that you fall for his latest trick and feel as if DALC is an institution with structures. In a way, it almost feels as if DALC has departments, right? If you are easily fooled, then you are already congratulating Oborah. Just like you did when he promised to launch a board of directors in the 2008 graduation.

That was in-front of 2000 people and he still junked it. He must have laughed at how easily you were all fooled by his neat trick that involved DAVY KOECH being installed by Oborah as the DALC chairman!! hahalol

So there you have it, Oborah will take your money and spend it as he pleases and then refer you to an email address. Funny how an email address is a department too.

Now talk to Oborah's puppets  (who have not been paid yet and will be fired every two months) you muppet (who still thinks DALC is cool).

DALC AND KREP TO MAKE MONEY AT THE EXPENSE OF INNOCENT KENYANS

It now official people, Oborah is having cash flow problems and he has moved to seal that gap with a new deal that will soon make it mandatory for students to take loans from KREP and pay with 24% interest! That means that on top of being conned (CAMBRIDGE/OXFORD) you get to spend 24% more on fees due to this loan. That is a shameless deal from Oborah but then, when has he ever been ashamed?

In this new deal, KREP will get money paid directly by you so that Oborah's hefty loan can be cleared. We are sure he owes about 120,000,000 to the struggling bank. Remember KREP bank plunged new depths with a sh. 209 million loss in 2008. That is a massive loss for a micro-finance bank considering that other players such as Faulu, Equity and KWFT all recorded impressive profits during the same period. KREP, has been roped into this by Oborah whose wife Faith worked at KREP for many years and is probably the one pulling the strings.

OBORAH MOVES TO MILK MORE CASH WITH KREP LOAN SCHEME

OBORAH ARRANGEMENTS WITH KREP ON LOANS TO STUDENTS QUESTIONABLE

FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS, OBORAH HAS BEEN FORCING STUDENTS TO TAKE LOANS WITH KREP IN ORDER FOR THEM TO PAY SCHOOLS TIMELY.

THIS MOVE RAISES EYEBROWS. FIRST WE ARE BEING TOLD TO MOVE OUR SALARY ACCOUNTS FROM OUR BANKS TO KREP. SINCE THE AGREEMENT HAVE A SINISTER MOTIVE, NO ONE CAN TELL WHAT WILL BE HAPPENING TO OUR SALARY ONCE IT GETS TO KREP. WE ARE BEING TOLD THAT THE INTEREST RATE WILL BE AS LOW AS 12%. THERE IS A VERY HIGH POSSIBILITY THAT THERE ARE HIDDEN CHARGES AND THERE IS MORE TO IT THAN MEETS THE EYE.

FOR THOSE WHO ARE UNABLE TO GO FOR THE LOANS, WE ARE BEING TOLD TO PAY TO KREP ALL THE BALANCE FOR THE REMAINING MODULES FAILURE TO WHICH WE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CLASS FROM NEXT MONTH. THIS FURTHER COMPLICATES THINGS. IS IT POSSIBLE THAT OBORAH WANTS US TO PAY FEES AND THEN HE SHUTS DOWN THE COLLEGE? REMEMBER WE WANTED TO GO ON STRIKE BECAUSE THERE ARE UNANSWERED ISSUES TO DO WITH THE CREDIBILITY OF DALC COURSES?

Oborah Is pulling wool over your eyes

The naughty fake professor is purportedly leaving DALC management to his new staff. He is hiring a new head of missions in addition to the new staff he recently unveiled. How is that possible yet DALC is his baby? We all know that at DALC Education, Oborah and his wife are responsible for:

• Lying to students about CAmbridge/Oxford papers
• Ensuring that the CHE turns a blind eye to the DALC con
• Getting stories about DALC/Oborah Published in the Standard/KTN
  
• Filling fraudulent tax returns
• Connecting student to fake Universities such as the IIU and the EBS

So what are the new staff supposed to do? Oborah is not leaving! He is simply taking a seat out of the limelight. So he doesn't have to pick your calls asking why your course is not on the CAM website or answering questions from pesky Journalists.

In other words, Oborah is window dressing. Pulling wool over your eyes. DALC is still a fraudulent organisation and hiring new staff changes nothing. The certificates will still come with errors, leturers will be fired at will, female students will still be taken advantage of and salaries will still come on the 10th.

Ask yourself, does the hiring of another head of missions change the fundamentals about DALC?

By the way, google this "Titova Zinaida Alexandrovna Njogu", and see the first place it lands you. So much for her 40 years experience as an administrator.

Title: NEW APPOINTMENT

As mentioned earlier, Prof. Humphrey Oborah will be leaving active day to day running of DALC effective 1st December 2009.

Accordingly, one replacement has been identified.

Mrs. Titova Zinaida Alexandrovna - Njogu will be taking over this position.

She holds a Masters degree in Economics and completing a Phd in the same from Ukraine.

She has nearly 40 years experience as an administrator in the education and public planning sectors and has satisfied the board of directors hence the appointment.

We will unveil her shortly.
