Please hear my story and let the world know the plight of many of us
who have been duped by DALC and oborah. I know many people will not
come forward but i am because i am on the verge of loosing my job due
to the irich university and DALC.

two years ago i studied for a diploma at DALC and was told i could
transfer my credits to a full bachelors degree with an international
university. so we were given option of Cambridge University but were
latter told our grades were not good so we could not be accepted
there. oborah then presented to us european business school(expensive)
and irish international university(cheaper option). I went for Irish
since my diploma had already costed quite an amount.

i collected my BBA degree from Irish university at DALC offices and
presented it to my employer. my trouble started when my employer told
me that the commission for higher education confirmed that my papers
were indeed fake.

i was put on notice and asked to contact my college for clarification.
since i got my degree through DALC i have been trying to get
clarification from oborah who has since blocked my number on his phone
and any attemps to get an audience with him have not been successful.

i ultimately we to the irish university website and sent them an email
for explanations on their credibility. they asked me to download the
attached document from their website which claims accreditation by the
australian government.

i got werry concerned and wondered why a UK university would not be
accredited in the UK but in australia.

when i contacted the australian embassy here they gave the contacts of
the accrediting body in australia who replied as below.

Robert this is very bad scam since some of us depend entirely on our
jobs and we sipport families. i have wasted time and lost money and i
know there are many other students in this situation.

Please do what you can to higlight our plight.

10 REASONS YOU SHOULD BE WARY OF DALC (Digital Advisory and Learning Centre)

1. Association with international conmen. Hardeep Sandhu and Hans Kempe have perfected the art of setting up dubious institutions and should not even address a gathering, well unless in a jail in the far east.

2. Fake credentials. CAM/OXIM are private companies and not educational institutions or examination bodies as you are made to believe. Can you get a diploma from a company..say Eveready East Africa ? How comes CAM/OXIM awards DiplomaS? The icing on the cake is Oborah, The man is not even a Dr. He has no phd and now calls himself prof.

3. Quality Assurance Commission. The accreditation body that Oborah says isn't. Read and see that QAC says clearly on its website that its an accreditation body. Your certificates and the ones on the walls at dalc bear QAC logo.

4. Tax evasion. Every legitimate business must pay tax and DALC doesn't. Still don't know why KRA doesn't catch up with DALC. No PAYE to this day?

5. Onlines System. Oborah's pervect way of holding all the evidence that you ever went to a college. One day he will shut the server and go to Bahama's. By then he will have closed the head office and you will have nowhere to go.

6.Donors grants. This is a lie that is told everytime Oborah addresses unknowing parents and students and creates a grand picture of the DALC of the future.

7. Lifestyle. The Head of Missions who is expected to be a man of repute and one who sets an example, spends his weekends partying and drinking hard with a brainless pal of his and sleeping around with girls barely out of their teens yet he is married.

8.Sexual Harassment: If you are pretty and young and ....desperate. Keep of DALC because the man does not take no for an answer and he is not nice if you say no.

9. Lies: There is very little truth in DALC. I challenge you to think of 10 truthful things about your institution. And where is the board of directors? After Davy Koech was installed as chairman (this was to get the CHE accreditation purposes) a board was to be set up in 30 days. That was 230 days ago.

10. Mental ineptitude: The DALC head of Missions despite being a reknown professor(of the WIDU:-) ) still reasons like one with a featherweight IQ. Up to this day he has not addressed any of the issues mentioned in the previous posts. When asked about the issues raised here, he has gone on to blame old staff whom he says he going to have arrested for theft.
So that's the explanation your local professor gives as an explanation for posing as a Cambridge Councillor!

One of the IIC directors interviewed on TV actually admitted that there was nothing genuine about the degrees they handed out!

The Grand DALC Deception.

Habari,Hallo,Bonjour.

I was forwarded a thread about this recurring topic on the validity or otherwise,of DALC as a valid institution of higher learning.I had once considered joining ,DALC, to pursue a course they purportedly offered,Graduate Diploma In Actuarial Studies.

My voyage began rather innocently and with great expectation as is the nature of such voyages.First and foremost i availed myself at their Nairobi west offices.Where i was interviewed about my educational level,course i was interested in blah..,.Then i left my contacts i.e e-mail and was told to expect a career placement e-mail,from their "expert"in Westlands,in a couple of days.

Alas! Wanakazi two days later, I was duly informed that due to their assessment I was eligible to enter DALC , at Graduate Diploma level.That would have been well and good,had i not been told that i could report the next monday (this being a thursday) and "commence"my studies without furnishing any documentary proof of my level of education.Now Wanakazi is the point at which alarm bells started going off in my head.

I am a logical man,and as they say when the deal is too good think twice.I could'nt help but think,that,Considering that i had just walked off the street given my qualifications without any formal documentation,and here i was on my way to a degree in Actuarial Science within 18 months in none other than the prestigious CAMBRIDGE or OXFORD no less.Nikaona wanakazi then, what was to stop a makanga(with all due respect to them) from walking straight from the street,say the self-same exact words i did and be on the way to a Bsc Actuarial Science From The top two Science universitys in the Globe!!!,at the friendly cost of 7900 KSHS per month,flexible hours,start anytime programme.
So i decided to do some little cybersnooping(i'm a Web Designer so i am adept at this type of exercise)and this is what i dug out.First and foremost Prof.Doc.Edu Humphrey Oborah as his homepage says,check it out.

So ask yourself why all these people and more are questioning DALC's legitimacy. Could we all be paid by the competitors? Are we trying to ensure that DALC loses its Oxford/ Cambridge exclusive courses?

An objective person will only draw one conclusion...like a gunman in one of those cowboy movies. FASST!

Glib and superficial

Psychopaths are often witty and articulate. They can be amusing and entertaining conversationalists, ready with a quick and clever comeback, and can tell unlikely but convincing stories that cast themselves in a good light. They can be very effective in presenting themselves well and are often very likable and charming.

Typically, psychopaths attempt to appear experts in sociology, psychiatry.

Maybe the grand professors- cavalier of hope medalists- self proclaimed academic?

Egocentric and grandiose

Psychopaths have a narcissistic and grossly inflated view of their self-worth and importance, a truly astounding egocentricity and sense of entitlement. They see themselves as the center of the universe, as superior beings who are justified in living according to their own rules.

Psychopaths are seldom embarrassed about their legal, financial or personal problems. Rather, they see them as temporary setbacks, the results of bad luck, unfaithful friends or an unfair and incompetent system.

Well if i called hundreds of people to witness my sham medal and professorship award, would that be egocentricity?

Lack of remorse or guilt

Psychopaths show a stunning lack of concern for the devastating effects their actions have on others. Often they are completely forthright about the matter, calmly stating that they have no sense of guilt, are not sorry for the pain and destruction they have caused, and that there is no reason for them to be concerned.

Psychopaths' lack of remorse or guilt is associated with a remarkable ability to rationalize their behavior and to shrug off personal responsibility for actions that cause shock and disappointment to family, friends, associates and others who have played by the rules. Usually they have handy excuses for their behavior, and in some cases they deny that it happened at all.

Lack of empathy

The feelings of other people are of no concern to psychopaths. Psychopaths view people as little more than objects to be used for their own gratification. The weak and the vulnerable—whom they mock, rather than pity—are favorite targets.

Psychopaths display a general lack of empathy. They are indifferent to the rights and suffering of family members and strangers alike. If they do maintain ties with their spouses or children it is only because they see their family members as possessions, much like their stereos or automobiles.

Imagine driving an S class Merc after fleecing unknowing Kenyans some of whom take out loans to pay the fees and still feel nothing!! HA!

Deceitful and manipulative

Lying, deceiving and manipulation are natural talents for psychopaths. Given their glibness and the facility with which they lie, it is not surprising that psychopaths successfully cheat, bilk, defraud, con and manipulate people and have not the slightest compunction about doing so. Their statements often reveal their belief that the world is made up of "givers and takers," predators and prey, and that it would be very foolish not to exploit the weaknesses of others.

Yes yes yes. You have seen the man on TV, newspapers etc. He is all calm and collected, he sleeps soundly thereafter I bet.

Impulsive

More than displays of temper, impulsive acts often result from an aim that plays a central role in most of the psychopath's behavior: to achieve immediate satisfaction, pleasure or relief. So, family members, employers and co-workers typically find themselves standing around asking themselves what happened—jobs are quit, relationships broken off, plans changed, houses ransacked, people hurt, often for what appears to be little more than a whim.

Ask anybody who has worked with DALC's head of Missions.

Poor behavior controls

In psychopaths, inhibitory controls are weak, and the slightest provocation is sufficient to overcome them. As a result, psychopaths are short-tempered or hot-headed and tend to respond to frustration, failure, discipline and criticism with sudden violence, threats and verbal abuse. They take offense easily and become angry and aggressive over trivialities, and often in a context that appears inappropriate to others. But their outbursts, extreme as they may be, are generally short-lived, and they quickly resume acting as if nothing out of the ordinary has happened.

Although psychopaths have a "hair trigger" and readily initiate aggressive displays, their ensuing behavior is not out of control. On the contrary, when psychopaths "blow their stack" it is as if they are having a temper tantrum; they know exactly what they are doing. Their aggressive displays are "cold;" they lack the intense emotional arousal experienced by others when they lose their temper.

It's not unusual for psychopaths to inflict serious physical or emotional damage on others, sometimes routinely, and yet refuse to acknowledge that they have a problem controlling their tempers. In most cases, they see their aggressive displays as natural responses to provocation.

This ought to explain why a Professor loves to party so hard in the company of girls barely out of their teens accompanied by a DALC educated half wit who never leaves his side.

THE " PROJECTS MARKED IN UK LIE"

When DALC started offering SCAM CAM/OXIM courses, they made sure that the courses resembled very much those offered by the genuine CIE so that the students would switchover seamlessly One of hey features of the CIE examinations was the fact that the exams are marked in the UK and so DALC continued a system where students were made to believe the exams were marked in the UK and the results sent back after a month. A few people in the know then figured out the truth and the majority had to figure it out later when we found both of our projects displayed in DALC's libraries.

That left me wondering, how can the original copy that I signed be in the library? Well, needless to say that Oborah had a short story and lots of fake laughter when explaining lamely that there might have been a problem and he sent the copy instead. Later on, others came across their projects and DALC decided that projects from Mombasa would be sent to Kisumu and those from Kisumu to Mombasa to minimise these embarrassing confrontations with the truth. According to one member of staff who worked there, the projects were burnt when they became too many to handle or conceal effectively.

What was DALC to do with all these projects? Come in Humphrey Oborah. He is ingenious and definitely not one of those con men who come to you stinking of 2 weeks unbathement or a strange alcohol. He wears a designer suits, silk ties, handmade shoes, drives a Mercedes S class and speaks like he grew up in East London. He is crafty too. So he hired some good web developers to code a system that would hold all of DALC's evidence of fraud. Students were then asked to submit their projects online as DALC's system was connected to the CAM /OXIM system in October 2008.

Students who submit their projects to the system had the benefit of quick results as Oborah would no longer send imaginary projects to the UK. Moreover, this is the digital age so the clever con knows how to make technology work for him. It is perfect for him. No bulky projects to worry about, no pesky students asking why their projects are in the library and best of all, you cannot sue him in a court of law when things go sour. He will shut the server, format the hard disks and you will have to convince the court that you were conned by a non existent system run by DALC.

With renewed confidence, he will now market DALC as a paperless (read evidence free) institution that has fully embraced ICT as he has no paper trail to worry about and can lay off the ulcer medication for a while. But then, can he fool people all the time? I think not. So, I decided to look up CAM website specifications and see if they have the infrastructure to support the connection the fraudster speaks about with so mch gusto. You can check domain names and see who owns them and how the websites are constructed with this tool.

So as you can see below, the CAM-UK.ORG website was registered in 2005 and the sponsoring registrar was Wild West Domains, Inc. Strange for and International Association of Management professionals. In addition, the website is a basic html creation and the server on which it is hosted does not have the features to run a database or link up with any database for that matter. For Oborah's explanation to hold water, there must be a way that the DALC website is accessed by CAM guys (Sandu and group In Malaysia hehehehe) but that is not possible. The man knows that the majority of you have no way of verifying the truth and it is probably beyond you to figure out how a website connects to another in the Imaginary UK. Maybe he sends the projects as email attachments anyway!!!
