DALC EDUCATION's Response to the allegations

The bulletin below was posted last year and I came across the archives and decided to go through it and have some fun with the red pen. This was in response to claims that surfaced last year about DALC's (Digital Advisory and Learning Centre) illegitimacy. I wasn't able to give it a mark though , I will leave that to you.

Title: MALICE AND HATE CAMPAIGNS AGAINST DALC EDUCATION
TO ALL STUDENTS, STAFF, PARENTS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC,

Following malicious allegations against DALC Education, I would like to state
here that we have investigated and have a fair idea of who is doing
this, for what purpose and probably who is funding it.(Scapegoating, So who was it and why did they do it?)

We also want to state the true facts as they are and briefly let you know what steps
we have taken so far to deal with this evil (this word appears all the time in Oborahs vocabulary) so that parents, students, employers and the wider general public are accurately informed. Who is doing this and for what purpose?

We understand that sometimes back (about 2 years ago) a person who moderates an 'internet blog' came to DALC seeking employment. It is understood that he did not succeed due
to his qualifications. This guy comes from Dr. Oborah's constituency and expected favors. Recently, he put up an 'internet blog' where he has invited those against DALC (allegedly dissatisfied former staff and students) to make disparaging remarks about DALC Education.

(So someone came started a war against DALC because they did not get a job despite coming from Oborahs constituency. So then does this explain why Hardeep Sandhu owns CAM/OXIM/QAC/EUROPEAN BUSINESS SCHOOL/IRISH INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY all fake entities?? That is pretty lame an explanation. Scapegoating)

He has gone further to link up with media houses (yeah, all this cos they did not get a job?) to step up this hate campaign culminating in negative publicity about DALC Education. It is also understood that he has strong links with our arch competitors (Blaming the competition as usual). We are aware they are doing this because our impending validation/accreditation by the government and also our exclusive links with Cambridge Association of Managers and Oxford Association of Management (wishful thinking, sure its exclusive, see H. Sandhu and Hans Kempe attend graduations). They would like to engage us in negative public talk so that the UK bodies may de-register us and also to spoil any further validation/accreditation developments. (An attack to undermine the arguer's credibility)

The Truth Contrary to these malicious allegations,

1. DALC Education was inspected and duly registered in Kenya by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to offer Certificate and Diploma level qualifications (Certificate of Registration No MOEST/PC/775/2002) in accordance with Section 15. ( This is the Kenya of Triton Scam, Wisemen Trainers, DALC Education, Maize scam, Goldenberg etc. So we can question anything)

(2) of the Education ACT Cap 221. 2. DALC has never claimed to offer any direct degree programmes from any university especially those from Cambridge or Oxford. This is a fact which is in your prospectus. (You are so clever no to write it down anywhere but you tell all and sundry. Haven’t we picked our certificates from IIU/EBS from your office?)

3. Cambridge Association of Managers and Oxford Association of Management are professional academic bodies in the UK (Registered as private company). These two are not colleges as alleged. These professional bodies produce curriculum and arrange for the marking of examinations which are endorsed by relevant authorities in the UK (Name these relevant authorities, please do not say registrer of companies). These qualifications under these bodies are officially listed in The British Qualifications Book on pages 677 and 689 (This book advertises Irish International University in one of its inside cover as well and is published by the same people who ran the education scam). Dr. Oborah is available to help verify these facts and you are encouraged to check with your campus when Dr. Oborah will be with you (or you can also google H. Sandhu, CAM ,OXIM, Hans Kempe, QAC-UK et all or even check with british council by yourself).

4. DALC does not need to share any accreditation overseas with any institution(this is plainly ambiguous and meant to confuse, there is no such thing as share accreditation) since it has its own license from the Ministry of Education. Further, the only service that DALC Education needs from the Quality Assurance Commission QAC-UK is interpretation of work-based experience in order for a candidate to gain exemptions from courses based on work experience ( One feature of diploma/degree mills is credits for work experience. In addition, ask Oborah why all certificates from CAM/OXIM/Irish University/European Business School have the QAC logo) . This in itself is not validation or accreditation but mere "third opinion" which is not binding to DALC Education ( So why is it on my transcripts?). As a matter of fact we can change this to another institution at any time since issues of exemptions are not core to the curriculum (outright lie. Change to??)

5. DALC Education has applied to CHE (11/06/2007) for validation which is in the final stages of approval. We have never put up elaborate media campaigns claiming to have approval certificate from Commission of Higher Education. (This is Kenya of Goldenberg, Triton, Maize Meal etc)

6. DALC Education voluntarily 'pulled out' from British Council on 20^th December 2005. There was never a point during our collaboration with the British Council when we claimed to be transferring credits to Cambridge or Oxford Universities. (outright lie, check with the british council) . We pulled out to start programmes that did not require moderation of The British Council. Courses like ACCA, ABE, ICM, LCCI that we also offer do not need 'rubber stamping' of British Council. (This kind of reasoning is generally fallacious, something Oborah has mastered. The British Council does not rubber stamp any courses whatsoever, and what does rubberstamping mean in this case? Audit perhaps?)

7. DALC alumni have never declined to comment on their academic achievements while at DALC. Our students are proud of their achievements; they appear in our prospectus and have also freely given TV interviews which have been aired in the local TV channels. (Can we see them?)

8. Dr. Humphrey Oborah is the Head of Missions of DALC Education and not a gangster (intellectual con would be more appropriate) as alleged. He is an academic professional whose undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications can be easily obtained from University of Nairobi (Chiromo Campus - Institute of ComputerScience).( Did he forget to tell us where we can obtain proof his Postgraduate Qualifications or did he leave it out. For a man with 2 masters degrees from UK, a PhD, professor and an English accent its surprising)

9. Some of the journalists seem to be working in cahoots with the moderators of a private online forum which has extensively run defaming articles on DALC ( Foolishly appealing to emotion as he does, the journalists are against us so you the students ought to rally to his defence). The article on DALC Education appeared on this online forum six hours before the publication hit the streets. How did they access this information before time? ( Outright Lie) Or how did they know that this was coming?

What actions(s) is/are DALC Education taking?

1. Operations relating to this online chat is under police investigation (scare tactic: this is applied to all who question the fake Proffesor by the way) but we cannot locate the moderator because the only contact we have is the yahoo email (laughable assuming this is kaziafrica which is a google group, can it be yahoo)? address. There is neither physical office address nor telephone contact. We believe the long arm of the law will catch up them soon (scare tactic: again).

2. We have instructed our lawyers to move to court and institute legal action against these detractors(scare tactic: again).

3. We have organized for a counter story to appear on Wednesday this week or next week. We
will advise you shortly once we firm up the exact dates. We are doing this in the interest of the public especially your employers to have the correct position (So has the counter article been forgotten one year later? Don’t the employers need to know the truth anymore)? We will clarify our position in the media whenever necessary and once advised by our able Advocates of the High Court( Appeal to authority, high court, advocates etc. Oborah argues foolishly at times)

4. We have written to the UK bodies to issue a formal statement relating to the same and have also asked them to send to Kenya an official of the institute to clarify the issues locally ( Another one of those things DALC is yet to do. I cant wait for Sandhu, Gloria Clutton, Kempe, Gagne, Shepherd and Varo to show up). Final remarks I trust in your intelligence to see this malice and hope you all understand that I must use wisdom so that I do not fall in their trap( Appeal to emotion, this is the oldest trick that all conmen apply. Keywords here : INTELLIGENCE, TRAP. So you should not believe what they say so as not to appear unintelligent.)

I reiterate that DALC Education is committed to offering unrivaled quality training in all courses being offered. That is why I am taking my time to get to the bottom while taking serious steps to stop them. (yeah so can I ask what happened to the European Union Aid to DALC, where are the doctoral theses you have written? Just asking)
