Iranian interior minister sacked over fake Oxford degree

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran suffered a humiliating and politically damaging setback yesterday when his Interior Minister, Ali Kordan, was impeached by parliament for deception after he confessed to holding a forged law degree from the University of Oxford.

The President has portrayed himself as a champion against corruption but stood by Mr Kordan as the scandal intensified, insisting that his minister was a "victim" who had devoted 30 years of service to the Islamic Republic and should not be judged on one "piece of torn paper".

Mr Ahmadinejad sulkily refused to attend the parliamentary session, declaring that the move to impeach was illegal because Mr Kordan had committed no wrongdoing during his turbulent three months in office.

    I am former Dalc TUTOR, I Can confirm to you that Dalc is too fake to deserve your time. i was the one who designed the Actuarial syllabus that Obora keeps on touting is from UK , whatever that means.i left when things got hotter and Oboras explanations as usual very pedestrian and questionable. i had just gotten the job and within two days of my employment i had been forced to sit all night long to design a syllabus, i can tell you i needed money then i did all i could to do syllabus design. i know as a professional Actuary that the syllabus is NOT WORKABLE AS IT WAS DONE UNDER DURESS , YOU GUYS KNOW HOW ONE GOES FULL STRENGTH TO A COMPLISH THE FIRST TASK OF EMPLOYMENT, OBORA KNOWS THAT AND CUNNING AS HE IS TAKES ADVANTAGE.

    u are too much cheating i am a student taking the course and never should I go your side shame to you lecturer. So that is the reason why u were not giving us marks see me????? in life time being the number 15th actuary in kenya...

    Well, I don’t see any problem if one fake degree can get you a good job if you deserve only then it’s worth it from having anything. I have know some persons who used fake degree to get a sanitation job and now they are earning good, taking care of their big family.
